Bistro ''Kod Starog'', a newly renovated restaurant in Ražine, Šibenik found its place on the site of the former popular Enigma cafe, where friendships and many happy memories were made.
The Bistro has a total area of 210 square meters and consists of a kitchen, pantry, warehouse and space for staff, as well as a service area with 80 seats and a terrace covered with an awning. The interior designer, Angelika Kolarić, is responsible for the interior, in which our visitors are delighted by the numerous details that have been designed with great care. The starting point for the interior design was the imaginary figure of Stari (an Old man), which took its physical form as a sculpture next to the bar. The restaurant is dominated by light tones and shades associated with the colors of sauce, pasta, drinks and barbecue. Wood was used because it resembles parts of Enigma's beams, bronze because it simply fit in, and metal because it combines modern and old. The porcelain was chosen in colors to create dynamism in the space and the wall coverings in an old Dalmatian greenish-gray color reminiscent of the popular Dalmatian windows. The seating areas are multifunctional, and the goal was to create a multipurpose space: for intimacy, socializing, business conversations, family or business lunch and quick brunch.
The menu of the ''Kod Starog'' offers a wide variety of dishes, including cod, calamari stew, barbecue, meat specialties and a large selection of daily dishes. Also, every day until noon, the bistro offers various types of breakfast, such as omelets, toast, etc., because in Croatia we have a saying - the day is known by the morning.
Bistro Kod Starog is an ideal place for any time of the day - brunch, lunch or dinner. Our excellent staff team, whose work and dedication we are extremely proud of, is responsible for a pleasant stay and delicious food.
We want our guests to feel comfortable in the Bistro area and therefore we always wish them a warm welcome.
